With essential oils, say Goodbye to the pain!
When the sciatic nerve becomes painful, during a session or herniated disc, for example, the ordeal begins. A blistering pain tears you from the base of the back of the front of the buttock, runs along the thigh, leg, and foot to finally be part of your processions. Every movement, even minimal, you tear off a grimace of pain.
In the majority of cases, if the household is in progress, the pain passes in a few days and not through the particular treatment. Apart from that, you have an active life, obligations to fulfil and to prefer your commitments without suffering martyrdom.
Fortunately, the arsenal of essential analgesic, analgesic and anaesthetic oils is very well supplied. With the advice written there, you will be able to quickly reduce the pain of your sciatica.
Need a fast and high-performance remedy?
Gaultheria essential oil is probably the most effective in this kind of situation. Thanks to its high concentration of methyl salicylate, which is a molecule similar to aspirin, wintergreen will soothe inflammation in a short time.
For this, put three pure drops on the lower back and gently massage. The combination of the analgesic action of the essential oil and massage will be very beneficial to relax your back. This will bring a welcome relief to most of the symptoms of sciatica.
Massage the painful area 3 to 5 times a day, for a maximum of one week. Beyond, if the pain does not fade, it is recommended to consult your doctor.
In fact, your doctor can advise you to make a radiological examination, in order to detect a possible herniated disc.
Massage oil over-measuring!
If your aromatherapy cabinet is more complete, it is quite possible to compose a more complete synergy, to bind with a vegetable oil to obtain a highly effective massage solution!
You can make this massage oil by yourself, by keeping it in a glass bottle (dark).
Miraculous massage oil:
3 drops of wintergreen essential oil
2 drops of peppermint essential oil
2 drops of essential oil of camphor rosemary
3 drops of lemon eucalyptus essential oil
2 drops of St. John’s Wort essential oil
10 drops of arnica vegetable oil
Apply this mixture along with the path of the nerve (without pressing so as not to revive the pain); 3 to 5 times a day, depending on the intensity of the crisis, for a maximum of one week.
The clay poultice; a natural remedy that relieves and heals!
If you have a little time, you can also use a clay poultice to incorporate a few drops of wintergreen, lemon eucalyptus, and peppermint essential oils.
In a glass bowl or small bowl, no more than 5 to 10 cm of crushed dry green clay. Then pour water (at room temperature) to completely cover the clay. Add your drops of essential oils (about 3 of each).
Cover the salad bowl with linen and wait for half an hour, so that the green clay dilute with water. By gently using a wooden spatula, try to render the mixture homogeneous. If the dough seems too compact, add liquid. If it seems too liquid, add a little clay. Using the spatula, take a little clay and spread it on a compress. The thickness of the clay layer should be about 2 cm. Cover with another compress. Then apply the poultice to the painful area. Prepare as many compresses as necessary to cover the lower back. From what the poultice becomes dry.
Warning: all essential oils are not recommended for children under 10 years and pregnant or breastfeeding women.
To fight against pain and inflammation, use the devil’s claw
And finally, to accelerate the healing, it is quite recommendable to couple your treatment with essential oils:
• Two capsules of harpagophytum (real name of the devil’s claw), dosed at 335 mg, three times a day for a week.
